Last week on a Thursday morning I went for a walk to near by park. I am going to this park from quite some time and knew a couple in their 80’s, Krishna daada and Savitri daadi who comes for a walk every morning. We used to have short conversations about general things. As I observed, Savitri daadi was always blushing when daada smiles at her. I was very curious to know their love story. That day, after completing my walk I was sitting on a bench and after some time Savitri daadi sat next to me while dada was busy talking to his friends. We started talking and I asked dadi to tell her love story. She smiled and began saying ” I completed my graduation and planning to do my post graduation and one day my father came to me and said tomorrow a guy’s family is coming to see you so wear a saree and get ready. I din’t had the courage to say no to my father. Next day, Krishna has come along with his family. We didn’t even talk. They liked me and we got married in 10 days. I felt like running away, sad, angry, nervous and what not. I was sitting in my room and thinking about what happened, Krishna walked in and sat next to me. He said “I know how difficult it is for you to accept this new relationship, So let us be friends and know each other better”. His words help me calm down. We started talking and with time my nervousness faded away. We became good friends in few months. One day we were in kitchen preparing some food and I was looking at him and blushing continuously and he was smiling at me. That is when I realized that I fell in love with him. We never really said I love you to each other but we knew it. In this 60 years journey there are many ups and downs but he never let me feel alone, he has always been with me and will always be with me”. She completed saying and by this time Krishna daada was walking towards towards us and smiling at her while Savitri Daadi was blushing.
After listening to what she said, I started believing in forever love. Do you believe in forever love???
